Effective September 2026
Ghost Rides Lincoln does not require an account, does not ask for your name, and does not sell or share your personal information. We do not track you across other apps or websites.
With your permission, the app reads your device's location while you have it open so it can tell when you have arrived at a tour stop and unlock that stop's story. Your location is used on your device to measure distance to each stop and to order your route. It is not stored on our servers, not attached to your identity, and not shared with anyone. You can turn location access off at any time in the Settings app; the tour still works, and you can unlock stops yourself as you reach them.
Tour passes are sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment — we never see or store your card details. We receive a confirmation that a pass was bought so the app can unlock the tour and restore it on your other devices. Purchase handling is provided by RevenueCat, which stores an anonymous purchase identifier tied to your Apple Account, not to your name or email.
Story audio, photos, and stop details are downloaded from our content server as you use the app. Those requests include standard technical information such as your device's IP address, which is used only to deliver the content and keep the service secure.
Your active pass, which stops you have finished, and your place in the tour are saved on your device so you can close the app and pick the tour back up. Deleting the app removes this information.
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here with a new effective date.
